My Uncle Jens

A warm and touching comedy drama about family, migration and tradition. In the middle of a rainy night, Akam, the son of Kurdish immigrants who settled in Norway, is awakened by a knock on the door of the apartment he shares with friends. To his surprise, he finds his uncle standing outside, who has just arrived from Iran in the middle of the night.

The cultural encounter between the uncle and Akam’s roommates soon takes an amusing turn. As the days pass, Akam begins to suspect that his uncle may not be planning to leave anytime soon and that he might not be telling the whole truth about his situation.
